I had a spike. Then one or two days after that, I realized that I can hear a new T sound in the formerly healthy ear. This was about a month ago, and I can still hear it . However, the new sound has faded, somewhat. There is still hope that it is not going to be permanent.

The new sound might NOT have been caused by that particular noise. It is impossible to know for sure...
