Thumping Sound or Ear Popping

I get this weird sound in the affected ear, is it the eustachian tube trying to equalize air or is it just some movement of the tensor tympanic muscle?

Either way, can this improved over time? Any supplement or medication to help relief this symptom?

 

I get this sort of thumping or pounding in my let ear all the time. It's harmless and it usually goes away. My left ear also thumps in response to nail clipping or burping for reasons entirely unknown to myself. You could check with a doctor to see if wax is touching your eardrum. Though I wouldn't suggest you go to an ENT for this since it's harmless.

Not sure about treatments, I have them both but not getting any treatment, muscle relaxants don't usually work because the muscles are so tiny and the spasms are local, meds that affect the whole body are usually quite ineffective..

 

I seem to be going through the same things. Is there any way you cope with it/make it better? I'd love to know.

 

@Hariz Nonis how long have you had your symptoms for? I'm experiencing it now, 24/7 individual thumos

 

It started two Fridays ago, end of November. I can't say I'm experiencing thumping, it's like reactive T. The cause could be ETD(which I know I have), Myoclonus, or TTTS.
