Tinnitus and Acute Stage Treatment

@Jay M I was on plavix aspirin and cestor.
Checked for etd results came clean..
Plavix has many side effects.. it caused nervous weakness, brain fog and sinusitis...
I had to stop all those medications and it took a month plus time to recover from brain fog.. that is when I started to notice the T. doctor also said possible etd or dried mucus. .
Audiogram also shows loss in hearing. .
Etd test came clean, the tubes are ok..
Ct scan and mri also clean. .
Reflexometry test showed I had low amplitude reflexes in both the ear.. (I dono what it means)..
Also did oae and abr test both test also clean...

My t is static/hizzing type also its constant. .
Tried steaming.. nasal setriods. . Nothing changed
Now trying hbot. ..

Two ent looked into my ear and said they can't find anything wrong in regards to otitis media.

 

Samr thing happened to me yesterday...

 

Dame my hearing seems to be fluctuating...
Loss in higher frequency in both ears now..
No wonder I felt left ear too buzzing. .

 

I wonder if OAE tests come clean if some hearing loss of higher frequency is diagnosed. Hearing loss means hair cells lost I guess . This is so contradictory and insane complicated stuff beyond anyone's understanding. Why is there do damn cure till now?????!!!!!!!

 

@Asian oae test done only for frequency range upto 8k
My loss is above 8k..
Some of the loss below 8k has recovered. . But above 8k its still not stable. . My cold has been acting up and mild pain in my right ear past two days.. Probably inflammation came back I think. .

I am much better than before. My health has improved a lot.
After i finished hbot in chennai india
I flew back to Singapore for work its been about 2 months now
The T is still here, sleep issues resolved but time to time i do take melatonin. Blood pressure and heart condition are stable.
I also take fish oil, serrapetase, systematic enzymes and magisum regularly.

 

@nogood Thats really great bro , i read all ur post , i have been through a similar phase as urs , its been 4 months since my tinnitus started, i did everything to get myself rid of it , piracetam , vertin , xanithole nicotinate,xanax and what not , had 2 accupunture sessions with no results , since am from india too i have been on homeopathy for arnd 2 months now , saw abt 10% imrpovement , my homeopathic doc says he will cure it very soon , have been keeping my attitude positive , do opt for homeopathy if u can , nd mine was noise induced tinnitus , i have hearing loss above 15000 khz , i can suggest u a very good doctor, am from new delhi btw

 

@coolbeer my case not so simple one and my t is either from ear infection or ototoxity or both.
Not sure homeopathy will help

no changes but got use to it.. like I have a choice of cure.. so just learned to live with it..
