My tinnitus is a variety of the loud high-pitched hiss. What helps me best to sleep is putting a masking sound on my phone (go to YouTube and search for "MOST POWERFUL TINNITUS SOUND THERAPY 1 Hr". White noise, etc. can't help much, but this one (meant to help with high-pitched tinnitus only) is much better. My brain focuses on the outside hiss and algorithmic beeps and my own very loud tinnitus largely disappears.

If you say so. I'd take this with a grain of salt.

Gabapentin has been used in clinical studies for tinnitus to lessen severity. No, my tinnitus is high frequency 12-13 kHz and was caused by vertigo episode and opioids. CBN is not ototoxic. It's an engineered form of CBD oil specifically for sleep.

That’s fantastic news and I’m so happy for you.

I believe the processes for tinnitus that is caused by a head injury are different than those caused by noise damage or hearing loss. I think the rate of resolution is much higher. So that it is great news. I am so happy to read when somebody has had resolution of / improve in the symptoms. It is so awful to adjust to. I’m sorry you had the head injury. I hope all other symptoms resolved as well.

My husband first got tinnitus from multiple head injuries - football player. It was really bad in college while playing and then improved. Now I think he just has tinnitus because he doesn’t protect his ears at all.

      Thanks for sharing your story.
