My name is Rolf. I am 18 and I am a student... Currently at my A levels' second year. I think I probably got tinnitus from all the earbuds I use but I also have an infection in my right ear. Surprisingly I have tinnitus in my right ear only. It started 2 or 3 months ago but at the beginning it was mild but now it started to change its frequency from buzzing to high pitch ringing. I also get headaches from it and now my left ear also started to ring a bit.

Can you please help me? I am having a very rough time. Plus I am a student and I am not able to focus on my studies. I am feeling my life falling apart. Please help me.

Welcome to the forum. Have you seen an ENT for your ear infection? It can cause ETD which can cause tinnitus and other symptoms. In the meantime you may try mask your ringing so you won't get too anxious. Try load some Apps for tinnitus masking or therapy and use a Bluetooth speaker if you don't like to use ear buds. Try read up success stories to give you hope and help you calm down. Stress and anxiety are need for tinnitus. Take care. God bless.
