      MRI with Gadolinium (Gadavist)
I had an MRI in April 2017 - did not have tinnitus - came our of test with roaring tinnitus. PCP and other doctor and care givers thought I was wrong - "Never heard of that". Then I found a Yahoo Group on the after effects of Gadolinium and finally feel validated. No instant cures but there are lots of ideas and natural ways to try and chelate gadolinium. I'm just getting started with research and I'm doing a test to see if the gadolinium is still showing in my body.

If your tinnitus is from the contrast you might get some ideas on their site.

MRI noise can be dangerous. The woman in this PEOPLE Magazine article got tinnitus from an MRI - she wore both earplugs and earmuffs during the scan, but it wasn’t enough.

What did you find out about removing gadolinium for the body? I’ve had several MRIs due to a brain bleed and most have had contrast..I use ear plugs, ear muffs and take a Valium to calm myself down for the test. I’ve never had my t spike too much except after this last one.. not sure if it’s the contrast or the sound but I can’t deal

Epsom salt baths and drinking a lot of water were recommended to me. Most gadolinium will be out of your body within the first 24 hours.

Thanks. Mine was a week ago and looking for anything they could’ve caused this massive spike . I’m trying to keep my cool and say it wasn’t the mri because the spike didn’t initially come after the mri but a few days later so I’m hoping the spike is hormonal from starting my period soon and it tapers down.. I had a breakdown last night and was crying because it’s soooo loud right now.. I even have difficulty concentrating on conversations and my work because of it..
