Unsure, but could be close proximity to a 40/60 bofors gun
Hi,

I'm new here, my first post is "Hello" in the introduction pages.

I've had tinnitus for at least 40 years and possibly more than 50 years. Its sometimes bothersome, like right now, but I expect that's just because its on my mind presently. It is slowly getting worse, but usually I place it behind all the other important things in life....like "everything"...... and just get on with living.

Although I've asked advice on my tinnitus, I've never had any sort of treatment for it.

But, there is one thing that I've never mentioned to anybody. It may be important, maybe not......
When I clench my jaw, or force it rearwards, the noise gets louder. Is that a sign as to what is causing my tinnitus or what might be able to help relieve it?

Thanks & Cheers,
Rob

That's somatic T from my understanding. Something like 3/4's of sufferers can do that.
