Chinese medicine is a SCAM.

 

And you base that statement on?

 

There is a local guy here - Chinese acupuncture - who says he got results with accoustic trauma patients t by sticking those needles at spots where they block the action of some nerves which is also crosse linked to other scientific studies on nerve block - there is a good post on the acupuncture thread
So maybe not a scam but no permanent cure just a temporary relief to consider - side effect free maybe better than trobalt

 

There's no shortage of actual medical papers on Pubmed that demonstrate acupuncture and definitely help certain kinds of T. And western medicine isn't helping much so it's worth - the acupuncture and chinese medicine both - trying. Beats doing nothing. I'm going to be looking at doing it soon enough.

 

I'm skeptical, but I've never tried it and know very little about acupuncture.

 

If the cause of tinnitus is nerve damage to the hair cells sticking needles in is not going to help unless your susceptible to the placebo effect.

I had acupuncture and Chinese medicine years ago for chronic nausea the practitioner told me I'd be better within 2 weeks, it did nothing.
