Unless you were blasting music during your car trip, it is extremely unlikely you suffered an acoustic trauma.
This is very likely a temporary spike due to you ears reacting to road noise. You will be alright, don't panic. If you are really worried you can take some magnesium and/or NAC.
Likely your anxiety/stress is exacerbating the situation.
