      Cause of Tinnitus:
      acoustic trauma
I had a tire pop while inflating and my right ear was affected.

It's been a couple months and I was wondering about others' experiences with this type of acoustic trauma?

I now have tinnitus and some ear fullness. Just in the right ear.

Things are improving, but very slow. I did see an ENT within 24 hours and had three steroid shots over three weeks initially.

@vince edwards, sorry to hear about the tire popping and causing you problems.

Only time will tell if this is permanent but it's good you had the shots.
Be careful now around extra loud sounds and protect your ears.

Normal daily loud sounds you come across daily are less problematic than the ones our ears are not used to.

      Love,
      Glynis
