Today I Got That Ringing Sound in Ear

Ok so today I got that pop and BOOM ringing sound, so I need to know if this is temporary or not because it's not that bad, but is it?

The cause of T listed in your profile says: "Basting Earrape" - I'm not sure what that means, but it may be quite beneficial (some would say potentially life saving) to go have your hearing checked, as for some treatments, time is of the essence.

Yeah I understood that part, but the explanation in the original post was:

Ok so today I got that pop and BOOM ringing sound

Which doesn't seem to indicate any acoustic trauma: it seems like the ear popped out of nowhere... hence my question.
