When I’m in a quiet room/lying in bed at night and can hear my tinnitus, it sometimes comes with what feels like a rumbling or vibrating sensation in my head.

Do others have this experience? Is something in my head actually vibrating or am I only perceiving it that way? I wouldn’t be surprised if there is already a term for this, but being relatively new to the forum I haven’t seen it.

I generally do not have this sensation when I can’t hear the tinnitus.

Yeah I get this also. It seems like my ear is vibrating when Im in a quiet room and I pay the most attention to it.

A couple of weeks ago my inner ear was having spasms. I could hear it while laying that ear on a pillow. Every 30 seconds or something it would sound like the gun on a A-10 tank killer plane... BBRBTBRBRBRT then stop.. then once my ear had the energy again.. BRBRBRBRBBTT. It was definitely a actual spasm from the inner ear somewhere

      Really weird..
