If publicity is what it's all about, I wonder if it would be worthwhile targeting and petitioning, as a group, specific journalists or editors, at a range of media publications, e.g. New York Times, Washington Post, The Guardian etc., to do stories about tinnitus from our perspective.
Tinnitus Talk could email bomb these and other media services, such as television and online outlets using form letters. They're always searching for content ideas.
I imagine it could be a fun activity, especially if we could see a successful hit, here or there. The list of media organisations to potentially target is endless. Lord knows how it could be organised, but it may be something people could get excited about.
