I have been taking a muscle relaxer for TMJ and to sleep. It has been working great for me but I am going to a chiropractor next week who said that I need to be off of it for treatment. Any suggestions?

I've taken that. Never did anything for me. I have some Ambien but I'm afraid to take it.

Yeah it's only herbal, therefore it has no garauntee to knock you out.

I've seen a few users on here on ambien.. But yeah i don't know I can't recommend nor not recommend.

Not sure if its ototoxic either.

Please ask your doctor anout Ambien before you start to take it. I know many people got their Ts from Ambien when they try to wean off it. And most of them tapered it very slowly but that did not work for them.

I'm taking mirtazapine right now. You can get some opinions about it on forum. It is one of the safest drugs to prescribe for tinnitus sufferers. But there are also a couple of cases claim that they got their Ts from it.

I think you should seek for herbal teas. I think this is also what I should have done 6 years ago. There would be no tinnitus for me today..
