I’ve had excruciating ear pain, jaw pain, head pressure, sinus pressure, weird clicks in my head like a muscle contracting, it’s almost like a little animal is in my head, neck and sinuses, as that’s where all the clicking or muscle contractions are felt (hears as clicks). Post nasal drip, persistent fluid in ears. Light-headedness and today chest pain.

What is wrong with me! This only started from an ear infection. Could it be a deeper infection that nobody is seeing???

And also what will my CT scan show? Can anyone suggest other tests I should request from my doctor?

      Thank you all.

A sinus problem can cause post nasal drip and it can get in your eustation tubes causing tinnitus and can cause a uper chest infection.
Steroid nasal spray and antihistamines should help and steam inhalation.

I feel the same sensations that you mention, the clicks and like a little animal its really weird. I hope you can find an answer soon.

I think a CT scan its the same as MRI which is what I chose, and it was basically to discard serious problems/illness.

They are completely different tools which show completely different things. You don't get to chose one or the other: it depends on what you are looking for.

Well the doctor ordered a CT scan but I asked him for a MRI order because of the radiation, so I did choose.

CT could be for superior semicircular canal dehiscence. Is it for the temporal bones? MRIs and CTs are vastly different.
