    2. What haven't I given up because of h? Quite a bit already. Frankly don't feel like giving up anything..I just want it to go away..The t well its the lesser of the two evils, but some days are pretty damn bad...I fear the future a little as its worsening...

I would give up everything i have and more, just to be normal again would be great. To be able to say to my friends and Family yes i'll come to that, yes count me in, because all i do now is turn down every invite as i just know that it will be too loud for me, so i'm home alone while everyone else is off having fun!!!! even with plugs i'm so frightened that my T will get worse, i know i couldn't handle that, and why would i want to? it's hard enough now!!! so to me giving up everything and starting all over again minus T sounds like heaven to me ahh if only!!!

Interesting question, on a bad day everything, on a good day very little, thats the problem with Tinnitus it has its ups and downs, you have a good day and then get kicked in the teeth the next day. I know that I can cure Tinnitus in 30 seconds but the side effects are terminal, thats what I use to fight against this cr*p condition.

Rhetorical question, just results in wallowing. Gives no help.

My hearing is great. It's just the tinnitus bothers me and if I could get rid it it, I'd day everything I own and more.

not only "gives no help", but "directly feeds unwanted obsessive neural circuits and is therefore directly counterproductive to habituation to ruminate on"...
