Hi
I have a certain pitch in my tinnitus that when my tinnitus reaches it, my hyperacusis can really start going off the charts.
I've noted certain noises like shower water hitting the panel can trigger it, but if I'm careful or my tinnitus is low it doesn't set it off.
However I had an ear infection in the affected ear, which has gone away, but now I have fluid trapped behind the drum and this pitch is coming on of its own accord. But only since having the blocked ear.
Do you think the blocked ear is exacerbating all this and logically once it drains this should settle?
