I just can´t believe it. I was starting to cope a little bit better. I was doing CBT with some success. I was starting to feel better.
Anyway, some days ago I noticed some new sounds in my T, but anyway I continued living and trying to do my best.
I was protecting myself from loud noises. I haven´t gone to the cinema for a lot of months, and not loud pubs or loud places, and wore my earplugs when needed.
But last night... oh my God I can´t believe it. I was having the best sleep on the last months, because I kept the windows opened and was very relaxed.
So then, at 4AM, started raining and I noticed it, and it relaxed me even more. But then, suddenly, a extremely LOUD thunder fell and I just panicked. At first I thought it was a bomb. I´ve never heard a thunder like that in my whole life, I´m sure of that. It wasn´t the typical lovely sound of a thunder, which I personally like a lot. It was like an explossion, a very very loud one. Few seconds later, I was having a huge spike like I´ve never noticed before. I kept awake all night till this morning.
This morning my Facebook was full of mentions to the exceptional loud thunder. All funny comments of course, but this has confirmed to me that it was freaking loud.
A quick search in twitter gives me some more results:
Translation: -A thunder wakes up half Pinto (Pinto is where I live)
-You´re right...do we know where it fell?
-I see I´m not the only one... for a moment I thought it was a firecracker or something like that...hahaha.
I went to the ENT and he has prescribed corticoids.
I hope that the spike settles, if not, I don´t know what I´ll do.
I just can´t believe my bad luck. Maybe I wish the thunder could have hit me and put an end to this freaking nightmare.
