Will Going to the Beach or the Pool Make Tinnitus Worse?

Hi everyone... I have a question ... Will going to the beach or the pool for a swim will make tinnitus worse?

 

Hi Rina, in my experience going to the beach actually improves my tinnitus. I am not sure if it's the relaxing environment or the sounds of the water and the birds but I feel peaceful at the beach and my tinnitus lowers. So I say go to the beach and have a great time.

 

Great! Thanks.. My boys love the beach and the pool and summer is approaching and I don't want T to interfere with these activities....

 

I definitely agree with @Miss lavender; being outdoors almost always calms my tinnitus. I take kayaking trips...and sometimes forget completely for an entire weekend that I have T.
