I have noticed that muffs seem to create decibels when exposed to wind because they are not streamlined. Or maybe they create an echo?
I'm looking for some scientific evidence on this as I have hyperacusis and want to safely drive my small motorbike, I went down a hill with engine off and db is identical as with engine on, so wind is the culprit as indicated by research.
So the question is, do muffs generate decibels through turbulence? Would plugs with streamlined helmet be better?
