I was watching a short film about WW2, and noticed this image, where guys on a war ship were using what seems to be cotton to protect their ears. I'm very sure that they are putting on this protection because they already had some sort of hearing damage and Tinnitus.
How effective could that protection be? We still don't have a cure for T, but we are a community helping each other to handle our condition... What makes me wonder, how was it to have Tinnitus 60 years ago?
