Didn't do the wax removal yesterday as they had too many Covid tests to do instead. But now Im awake and don't hear anything? I'm losing it.

Used a qtip in my left ear yesterday morning and now it's ringing. I make progress with the right ear and now the left is going? Greeeaaaat!

It was a lapse of judgement, I know. I feel like such an asshole now. My ear just felt full and itchy, and I didn't think it would be a problem. I'll look into making an appointment soon and will be taking the q-tips out of my bathroom when I get home.

Don't worry about it, Brittany. These things happen, don't beat yourself up on it. I'm about to have an earwax removal soon so I understand the urgency. Make sure when you arrange the appointment that you ask for it to be done manually; it's the safest method.

I've been listening to it get worse throughout the day, so I'm going to visit a walk-in clinic once I get home as that's a service they have. I'll definitely be sure to mention doing it manually, and not with a water syringe thing but with the curette or whatever it's called. I wish you luck with your removal and that it helps!

I'm still focused on the good in that it's gone down, and as corny as it is, my mantra has been a line from a Switchfoot song "None of this is in your control". Just gotta roll with it and hope for the best!

Yeah, I totally understand the feeling, believe me. I'm trying not to make assumptions just to brace myself for the future since I'm pretty pessimistic, but I do truly hope my situation will resolve. It's improved so much in such a short time that I'm pretty convinced. Best wishes. I'm here if you need to talk.
