I cant speak for everyone but my rapid taper from Xanax was, without doubt, the cause of my T. Im pretty sure it has to do with too little GABA...
Same here...My baseline days vs. screaming T days are invariably separated by sleep cycles.
I believe it has to do with glutamate levels. When we sleep they're very low. Once we wake, these levels rapidly rise.
