Have you looked at the website Survivingantidepressants? That gives a lot on info on withdrawal or stopping them and the symptoms you may get?
I think I've got some longterm withdrawal after 3 months on Amitriptyline.
I have not, if it is the Remeron, I am hoping once I stop/wean this small dose it will fade. Ugh, it's literally the smallest dose I could have taken !
@ErikaS Is it not the most aggrevating thing ever. Like you can't endure this condition without medicine but you also can't take medicine because it makes it worse.
@Ryan Scott and I have been so careful, thorough, and hesitant with any AD med that I read so much before agreeing to trying low dose Remeron, and then the muscle relaxer Flexeril.. that sounded beyond safe outside of SSRIs or anticonvulsants, and I still got screwed. Meanwhile I'm so depressed and mood swinging I need something!
@ErikaS I'm on the same page, I need something to relax and sleep at least. I've been taking trazadone since college for sleep and started taking diazepam most nights since getting T. Then I read a research paper that has them both listed as ototoxic, but then again almost every med you could think of was listed.
I think I've got some longterm withdrawal after 3 months on Amitriptyline.
