@4alien2 Same here. My family tells me I need to accept the condition but get upset if I can't go to a loud restaurant to celebrate a Bday. You are so very kind in your posts. I wish you all the best of luck.

I wish my family understood... I could use the support from them. You guys are great, but I have dedicated my life to support my family and when I need them it seems like they are not there. Seems like my mother might get it, but she apparently also has mild tinnitus (from covid), which I never knew.

we have the same thoughts. On my birthday, my parents wanted to take me out. I refused. It means nothing if I can't go to the places I used to go @4Grace
