Don't miss the opportunity to attend Tinnitus Quest's online Q&A with Dr. Susan Shore and Jon Pearson, CEO of Auricle on October 13. We will hear the latest about the Susan Shore Device.
@Joshua Macleod she snarked at me during our Bible study and asked me in a demeaning way, "is your tinnitus bothering you or something?" But she said it demeaning. The day before I told her that I could hear it over the concert we were at, where she couldn't hear it. IDK, but that comment/question and how she said it and meant it was rude. Haha.
@SarahMLFlemmer, It's an invisible affliction so people don't understand. Someone recently mentioned to me about having a positive attitude. It's easy for them to say that when they don't have this debilitating condition.
Is it bothering you? How audacious! Yes, thanks, it bothers me for every waking minute of every day. If you managed to bite your tongue after that remark, you're stronger willed than I.
Wow during a bible study! Faith was a big part of my initial recovery, stinks when those who should be supporting you do things like that. Sorry to hear that.
