@4alien2, I think the TMJ can affect the Eustachian tubes and ligaments causing tinnitus. The noise in my left ear is very loud and disturbing.

What the heck is a maxillofacial surgeon? Geeze sounds scary. Hope you get the help you need. I also have TMJ and ETD along with tinnitus and other annoying symptoms. Life can punch you in the gut, stay strong and hang in there.
My left ear is bad and I have an eustachian problem on the left. @just1morething
@4alien2, sorry you got this terrible affliction at such a young age. My left jaw is bone on bone and my right jaw looks okay. I don't know where you are from but you need to see a competent maxillofacial surgeon that knows that tinnitus can be a symptom of TMD. You first need an MRI of your TMJ and perhaps a rotary CT scan.
