Is ALA safe to take? I've read that due to its chelation properties it can really cause problems. How should I take it? Is it safe to take daily? I am on some meds (Luvox, Pregabalin, Valium) and I wonder if ALa is still safe to take.

That's just to increase GABA in the brain to help with the withdrawal, but lyrica has it own withdrawal symptoms.

I've tried both gabapentin and pregabalin. Neither improved my symptoms, and both had extremely uncomfortable side effects.

Why do you prefer Gabapentin? And doesn't it build tolerance whereas Pregabalin doesn't really or at least not quickly.

Gabapentin is turning out to be the same horror story, this is not surprising as they are both gabapentinoids. I was informed pregabalin was the lesser of the two evils years ago but from what I have read and heard both drugs can cause horror stories just like Benzodiazepines.
