“Strictly for Cat Lovers Only...”

The total catdeath mutilations by this perpetrator currently stands at over 450 in three years, and it is nationwide.
It could be the work of one piece of excrement, or it could now be a copycat situation.

If this tragedy happened to just one family, it would be appalling - but when you pause to consider the devestatating pain to so many children, their mums and dads, and the wider community it is truly heartbreaking.

There must be people who despise us, despise animals, despise the love and affection we shower on each other and on our beautiful pets; who relish inflicting maximum pain on truly good loving families, of a totally different mindset to their own.
One would hope that the poisonous cancer in their psychies, the utter vileness within them, would overwhelm and destroy them; but life doesn’t seem to work like that, does it.

Instead: the combined pain and suffering meted out to such wonderful and heroic people as I have met on here, is tragically undeserved.

Sometimes you just have to rant a bit,
and then get back to the wonderful ambiance of love and support that this forum displays to all of us, on a daily basis.

Pink gin and tonic and a cherished pet, now that's what I call chilling.

 

It was to hot upstairs trying to sleep with grumpy lungs so tried sleep down stairs.
Mason soon joined me for the night on top of me.

I love my kitty companion. She’s a big Maine coon who is very friendly and loving. When I’m having a bad day she knows and will literally follow me around my house and be by my side all day. Also, I have a large salt water aquarium that helps calm me down. Sometimes my kitty will just lay on the couch with me and watch the fish swim around

I don't live with cats anymore. The next best thing is to watch cats on YouTube.

My favorite cat YouTube channels: Walter Santi and Mejoo and Cats. Both upload videos with high production values that are always a joy to watch.

Hi guys,

Wonder if you can advise me? I've always really, really wanted to get a cat -- and in fact my therapist has recommended I get one to help deal with my Tinnitus -- but the problem is that I live in a dinky top floor flat, right on a main road.

The flat is surrounded by two very large, famous parks, but unsure how to get a cat there safely and be able to call it back in when needed. Obviously I don't want to take the cat out on a leash as I know it wouldn't like that.

I also know that you can get 'indoor' cats by choosing certain breeds, but I feel that my flat is too small for that.

If I do get a cat, will it follow me outside and back? Or can I let it out in the morning before work and back in when I return? I've heard of both happening with cats, but unsure how -- surely cats can't tell the time!

Also, just looked up the Croydon cat killer and it seems that the killings were actually caused by wildlife. Good to know it wasn't a person -- how horrible if it was!
