ENGLAND! Yesterday I was crying with frustration for Japan, today from joy! AWESOME!

 

Indeed it did. I was thinking we would be out due to our awful record at penalties haha

Can't ruin my mood tonight, but I am not a Japanese actually, nor an Englishman. I just like their teams and countries. I am actually a Bulgarian and we had one very strong tournament, but it was long time ago, in 1994, when we reached semifinals

Told my little grandson who was 5 we can play at half time,hopscotch and what time is it Mr wolf...
he had his football strip on and a flag ..baby went bed before the game and Sebastian 5 liked staying up till 9 so missed the end but will see Saturdays game at 3pm.

If given the opportunity, would you guys attend a World Cup or even a Premier League game with tinnitus? I ask because I have a ticket to see Wayne Rooney play his 1st game for DC United next weekend and I'm concerned about how loud it will be. Stadium capacity is 20,000 people and an open stadium. I'd of course bring my musician earplugs with highest NRR. Curious what the veterans here say.

And I'm rooting for England and Belgium for the finals!

 

It all depends how you cope emotionally with your tinnitus.
For me my tinnitus was not noise related and for that reason I would go with plugs but a year a go a fire alarm in our hotel room fitted on the wall at ear level went off in my ear no more than a few inches away from me.
I was standing at the side of the bed and only a small bedside table between the bed and wall so thats how close I was and the pain was instant.
Now I would not be in such places as the risk would be to great.

I haven’t been to a football match in a while, the last sport I went to watch was a rugby match and that was pretty loud. It can get pretty intense with everybody cheering, clapping and whistling right next you. I wouldn’t take the chance personally but that’s just me man, sorry I couldn’t be more help.
