Can tinnitus get worse with anxiety, stress and depression :(

I can't help It!

Tinnitus is causing all these to me, it's terrible :(

@Striveon ,
Yes it can im afraid.

This will help low mood,
Make sure your sleeping well and eating well and getting out in the fresh air.I know you might not feel like eating but try to eat a few small meals.

Anxiety will reduce as you understand how your tinnitus changes sound and strength and support.counselling can help and medication if needed.

Try to off load stress and go at your own pace and find ways to relax .
Play soft relaxing music when you need a break from your tinnitus sound.

Your not alone on here with great supportive members whom understand what your going through.

Thank you for your response and your advice. It means a lot thank you, I will try and try till I get there :)

@Striveon what helps me the most is my walk in my lunch break, 1,5h of walking in the country side. Doesn't lower my T but its the most relaxing thing all day.
Thank you for your advice, I appreciate it. I have tried exercising but I usually give up within 2 minutes, but I will keep trying. Walking sounds very stress free, I'm glad that helps for you, keep striving foward :)

You don't need to go crazy with the excercise, but walking gets you some fresh air and is actually relaxing. Also if you are not an athlete it is quiet stress free and you don't need to be super motivated to do it:)

OP, Stress is pretty well known and written about as making T worse. It can sure spike mine.

Walking is one of my favorite distractions and escapes from T. I love to go out at night, especially on a clear night when the stars are bright, and walk 30-45 minutes.

It's a vicious cycle, yeah.
If I would have known I was going to be struggling with peace of mind, I would have chosen Japanese shamisen as my tinnitus tone.
