Any Official Guidelines for Tinnitus Sufferers Sound Exposure Recommendations?

I just got Tinnitus 4 weeks ago.

And I don't want it to get worse...but all hear are opinions about this, and doctors over here in Thailand are incompetent...

Is there any official guidelines for Tinnitus sufferers sound exposure protection recommendations?

And possibly ear protection methods per activity? Ear plugs, ear muffs ect....

Something, like a governement PDF would be sweet!

I am not sure if there is a guideline for tinnitus sufferers. But in general it is a good idea to give our ears some rest if they are quite unstable. There are two sites below which can give us some idea how long we can expose to some sounds before damage can occur.

Dont expose yourself to anything above 85 decibles for a long period of time. Anything 90 decibles and above requires protection. Get musician ear plugs...they dont block out all sound and wear them only in noisy environments. Look online for information on noise levels and the amount of time it takes to damage your ears for more info.
