      Hi!

My name is Dana and I’ve recently had a severe case of vertigo accompanied by nausea, vomiting, tinnitus with profound deafness in one ear that sent me to the ER. Afterwards I followed up with ENT that stated he is sure it is autoimmune related. I had hearing test and steroid injection in ear along with oral steroids. I will see him again this coming week for another injection but as of now there is no hearing in my left ear.

I have numerous autoimmune diagnosis including PsA, UCTD, Sjogren’s and in the beginning of all of this I was diagnosed with lupus because of a high ANA. That diagnosis changed to UCTD when I had a negative ANA years later.

Just wanted to connect with people that experience the same issue I have.

I’m sure I’ll get diagnosis on my next visit after reviewing MRI and lab work. He was checking my ANA.

I know @Zugzug struggles with severe loudness hyperacusis (and I think tinnitus as well) and has Sjogren's.
