Awaken to high pitch squeal

In good ear, the kind that usually lasts for a few seconds. But is not going away. Left ear has static chirping noise, right ear squeal.
HOW do we habituated? Out of the blue during a dream.
Sigh, thanks for being here, needed to vent.

 

How long is the new sound there. Last week I had a high sound for 1.5 days and it went away back to my base eeeeeeeeeeeee ;-)

 

Hi Leah ,I woke up to low,my worst day with T,so were both having one of those days,but different pitch.
My balance aggravated even more,feels like I'm deaf ,but know I'm not,is there anything you can do to change yours ?Yes I'm as frustrated as you today Leah,to the point I could scream on this type T,know it won't come up at all any time today.

Scared that the other ear is going bad too.

 

I mentioned this the other day in another thread.
I occasionally get a high pitch from the good ear (right one). when that happens I apply pressure with my finger to the soft part just in front of the ear flap. Hold for a bit. Mine goes away in 30 seconds to a minute with acupressure.

Ya know this high pitch squeal happens to non tinnitus sufferers as well. The squeal does go away though in less than 1/2 hour I am told. I just do acupressure when it happens in my good ear side and it fades away in a minute or so.
