      Evening everybody.

As it’s been snowing heavily and cold here in the UK I’ve had the heating on more than usual. I’ve noticed today my ears seem to feel a lot more full and the ringing in my ears seems slightly higher.
I noticed this at the end of January as well when I had been in the house more and had the heating on a lot.
I know it’s a random question but just curious if anybody else has this issue or it’s just T being it’s usual random self?

I wasn’t sure, just curious as my ears seem really strange today. It probably is just being random.

      Sure Glynis.
Just find it strange as I remember them feeling like this around January when the heating was on more than normal and I’ve been indoors more than usual.

Yeah it could be, to be honest I’ve been bunged up since the end of December just doesn’t seem to be clearing up.
Time to get the vix out again and try some steam inhalation.

I think it was random as well, my ears don’t feel as full today and the ringing is back to mostly normal. Feel a bit stupid about asking that question now haha
But as I’m only two months in I’m still learning about all this T stuff and there is so much information to take in.

It’s strange the way it happens when Im by the heating... but I’ve got a feeling it may just be random.
      What’s Betaserc?

I am very glad that you are feeling better!

I think it was good that you asked. You could have been onto something...

I have noticed this as well. Our old boiler makes almost white noise. I think perhaps because its cold and being stuck indoors doesnt help.

      Cheers.

It's random. Unless the heating system itself is making any kind of noise, it doesn't matter if it's on or not.

I've noticed my T seems to peak in the cold months. I am also finding I'm bunged up a lot. I have a strong feeling dryer air improves my T condition. Maybe I have to move to a warm, dry country :)

Having also had the central heating on most of the time I can tell you I’ve been a lot dryer in the mouth than I would normally be. Dehydration around the ear, nose and throat, added to the colds that invariably do the rounds at this time of year, could be making your ears play up a little.

Having tinnitus, for me, made me far more aware of how my ears react to dryness, colds and many other things involving the ears.
