It's that time when family can get together have some fun, eat way too much Turkey, then fall asleep into a food coma. Look forward to it every year. Watching the kids open presents.
Happy and prosperous new year everyone hope by the end of this year we get a breakthrough to cure this damn tinnitus.

 

Hey guys,

It is my Birthday... yep, 8 birthdays with tinnitus now and I feel numb. A mix of emotions. I want to be grateful at how far I have come and all the goodness still in my life, but at the same time I want to cry at how tinnitus has hurt me in so many ways.

Well, the only whip I'm bringing out today is lots of whip cream on my cake...

I have been reading your posts for a long time now - always full of life, full of love, and care for others.
You have a wonderful sense of humour, and yet of course, I know just how much you suffer.
People like us must learn to feel proud of ourselves - despite our torment, we still manage to support and contribute to the family and friends around us.

My day has been quiet. Still in my pj's… lol
Didnt do a darn thing today other than be here on TT.
Going to eat cake in a little while, open my gifts and watch a movie with my girls.

 

I'm glad that Granny was able to catch her dentures before they landed on her cake! I don't think the people there would have appreciated having her denture tooth prints in the icing of their piece!...

 

Sheesh at first I thought that was my mum, but then realized mum lost her upper teeth while vomiting to the toilet gods. Too much Christmas cheer.

I'm now wearing a sling on my right hand due to the pain Ive been experiencing the past couple of months.
I have to ice it every 3 to 4 hrs and take pain killers as needed.

Oh no, Once. Two months is a long time to be enduring this. What happened, if I may ask?

 

I banged it hard helping a neighbor move and then I continued doing my everyday chores which aggravated it.
Now it hurtssssssss.

 

Keep on with the icing and the pain medications, and most of all, try to rest it. You are a busy person, so resting it may not be too easy, but do your best.
