Has anyone used Citicoline for tinnitus? Someone told me that after experiencing head trauma, their doctor recommended Citicoline to help regenerate damaged nerves. I purchased a bottle online from a vitamin store, but I'm hesitant to take it because it's typically given to stroke victims and people with Alzheimer's and dementia. I'm wondering if anyone has taken it to help or cure tinnitus. It seems like it could be helpful, given its potential effects, but I haven't found any empirical evidence to support that (though, to be fair, I haven't done extensive research). I thought I'd start here and see if anyone has had success with it.

Additionally, last week I began taking a combination of Ginkgo Biloba and a product called Tinnitus 911 by PhytAge. I've noticed a reduction in the volume of my tinnitus. It's still there, but it's fainter, and it's also helping me hear a little better. While the improvement is slight, any relief is better than none. I'm considering adding Citicoline to the mix, but I'm reluctant due to its potency. If anyone has any experience with Citicoline—whether good or bad—please share your thoughts.

I took Citicoline for a long time, but it did nothing for my tinnitus. If you decide to try Citicoline, start with a low dose and gradually increase it. Avoid taking both medications together.

Regards, and good luck!

Why? Did Citicoline increase your tinnitus (while taking with Ginkgo Biloba)? What is a starting dose with Citicoline? Thanks.
