Constant High Pitched Buzzing and Ringing After Ear Went Deaf for a Second While Brushing My Teeth

      Hi everyone, about 3 weeks ago my right ear went deaf for a second whilst brushing my teeth. Since then there's been a constant high pitch buzzing, along with a loud high pitch ringing in my right ear.

      It's been devastating. The ringing gets louder whilst I'm eating when I clench my jaw. The ringing seems to quiet down after I've been lying down for about 30mins although the buzzing remains.

      I've been to see the doctor and will be going for an MRI soon.

      Does anyone know if this could be permanent? Or would at least settle down? It's so bad and is destroying me.
