I have read it but dont understand it. Can you explain how benzo's and cigarettes interact. Because I use both...There's some interesting studies about benzos and smoking. Here's one.

Well I am in the midst of benzo withdrawal atm and I am going through hell. But that's mostly due to worst tinnitus. If I didn't have this I would say I have a fairly easy taper but the increase in T is sending me straight back to the early days of T. I feel hopeless. Constantly monitoring and isolating myself. There could be some truth to the study though because what I read sometimes what other people experience in taper I am lucky I am fully functional and even working out etc. But the increase in T@J.Hartog Hello. A few articles note that cigarette smoking causes chemical deduction with benzos. All the articles are a hard pharm read. Most state a 50% deduction of benzo affect. The only good thing about this may be an easier withdrawal (side effects) when that time comes.
I am so afraid that it wont go back to baseline. Will this help with the increase in T? Because that's the main problem. If it doesn't I really don't want to start with any sups while tapering. I can handle the other symptoms@J.Hartog I understand what you are going thru. Taking B12 and C should make it easier for withdrawal. You can research this, but this link says enough.

B12 and some other vitamins also should never be stopped cold turkey. A small withdrawal time of 2 to 4 weeks is needed.
