Yes. And such a high-pitched tinnitus sound doesn't seem to be that uncommon.

It's almost like I have an entirely different condition, yes I hear a noise in my right ear but it is of the static variety and nowhere near that high a pitch.

@Steve, can I ask what caused your tinnitus/what made it worse?

The advert looks great. @Berik - any idea if there if there's an English translation of it? YouTube's Auto-Translate didn't do a great job!

Not yet I think. I have reached out to ask if they can provide decent English subtitles in the YouTube video.

This should be plastered all over social media especially during tinnitus week. No one can truly understand unless they’ve had it themselves but this offers a tiny glimpse of living with the condition and just maybe we could garner a little empathy from the unaware masses.

I know it’s been discussed before but I really believe that using devices like these could be a great part of a larger awarensss campaign.

      Thanks for sharing @Berik

I don't quite understand the device. Does it only provide the tinnitus noise? So it's like basically an earbud which plays the tinnitus noise for an hour in their ears? Or how does it model the girl's hyperacusis? It says it's a reverse hearing aid. Does it somehow dampen certain sounds and amplify others while playing her tinnitus noise?

It's a nice idea to show people how living with tinnitus is, but I'd be really concerned to expose people to loud tinnitus sounds from earbuds in fear of actually giving them tinnitus.
