      Hi Rich and exodus,

Sorry.. just now seeing your posts.

My main concern was whether the electrical stimulus would enhance the tinnitus. Good news... nope! Just the opposite. For me anyway.

I have noticed changes in volume, type of sounds, and area in the head where I sense the T is coming from. At times I don't have the T or it is so faint I have to really listen for it and other times it is just faint or a whisper.

I stopped using the device for a few days as I was experiencing an overload of "healing" - not sure how to explain it. I listened to my body I guess you could say and decided I needed rest. I have used the device now for about 4 days total.... I think anyway. Maybe 5.

You can private message me with further questions if you like.

I set my sights for using this device for a couple of months. So... I am not really ready to make any judgements about it yet. I want to see if the T goes completely away and stays away!

My body voltage is naturally high due to a pendant I have worn for years. Using a voltage meter I can achieve higher measurements of energy than normal for people. That was a problem for me as the current was too strong for me. Cindy had the comfort level all the way up and I had to lower the comfort level all the way down and it still was a bit irritating. So... I made another adjustment to reduce the conductivity and it is better. I am using it right now. Oh, I got a second one so I can use it when I want.

With Cindy and her diabetes, she has not had a certain symptom of the disease for 5 days or so. It has to do with a kind of tremor in her hands/arms. Weird how she explains it. She has been free of it - this is a good thing. Too soon though to report of any consistent glucose level reductions as the instruction for this is 4-10 months of use. I have to say though she has kind of stabilized - not to a perfect or ideal level, but not way up there either.

I apologize if this is rather cryptic, but I do not want to overly excite anyone as I am giving it the appropriate time to assure it is the device making the changes and not a temporary condition. To be fair though, I am pleased with the changes.

Yes, I am seeing noticeable changes and reduction. I am pleased. I had moments of no tinnitus several times yesterday followed by whispers or hisses of pulsating T. It is in the hours of 3-6am when it is the strongest so I am watching for continued reductions during that time. I am hopeful. I get the sense that my body is trying to heal or make positive corrections. Don't know how to explain it. And the good thing is it has not increased the T... only reduced it and changed the sounds a bit. If this is the best that I can do, I am good with that for life. But, my bet is that is will totally fade out as that is the experienced course I am on.

I only use it now every other day or so as I can sense that my body needs rest and healing following application.

Regarding the diabetic Cindy, she has had no more shaking spasms in her hands for over a week. That is good as something neurological is improving. Her glucose levels are stabilizing to the normal ranges. Her diet has been better as well which is part of that.

The inventor just emailed me that he has finished a paper (I guess he will publish) as applied for tinnitus and the device I guess. I asked to see it. He knows that I have pulsitile tinnitus and that if he wanted to make a case for curing Tinnitus he should get someone with regular tinnitus for trial. Anybody want to be a human lab rat like me??!

      Calin,

How often does Cindy use the device? Has she been using it daily, or less often?

Actually TT is the perfect community for anyone to test something they believe will work. We are pretty vocal and if anything does indeed work a lot of people will see our positive reviews.

Sounds hopeful @calin, glad it seems to be having a positive effect on you, I would love to try this device but it looks as if you have got enough volunteers so I will watch on with interest.
Does he intend to patent and release this device soon or is he still in trial mode?
Hope your T continues to improve.

      Rich,

The inventor filed his patent in a non-USA Country in Oct 2012. It was for diabetes mellitus. He says he will be filing in the USA and also getting FDA approvals. We shall see.

Anyone can obtain the device now through the inventor. It takes 5-7 days to receive it in the US.

The inventor has not received anything from anyone else that I am told about obtaining the device for tinnitus. He is just following my progress.

Yesterday was a day that I did not use the device. I had regular low tinnitus through the course of the day...meaning no fading in and out of T. I used it again this morning and will see if there is a pattern developing when I use it and on days that I don't.

About trials... in his country they evidently don't have trials that are required. That's why I am calling myself the human lab rat! :D

      Hi all,

I gave a report as requested in a private conversation with someone that will be trying this device out and thought to update the thread as well. So, I am copying some of the message here for you in case you are interested.

The diabetic symptoms are stabilizing - all normal glucose levels for the past week or so with proper diet and the neurological condition has disappeared for some time now. She is still on her meds of course. The inventor says 4-10 months. The hope is that when she has to see the specialist for an adjustment into insulin injections as her primary doc scheduled, they will find that it is not needed.

I am still skipping a day - I may change the routine tomorrow... don't know yet. For a full day I have not had much but a pulsing faint pinging. This morning when I woke up (which is normally the high T time for me) was much softer. I did not use the device yesterday. I am using it right now. So, I skipped a day.

The other day when I skipped a day the T was low but not as low as the day or so before. It could be that the T had to get stronger to get weaker! It's these changes that I am experiencing with the device that keep me guessing now!!

I am finding no harm or dissatisfaction with the device. I have made adjustments with the comfort level ( strength) and am using the device contrary to suggested schedule of days protocol. Everything else is as suggested. My progress is noticeable by the changes in the T sound, location, volume and type. I continue to be hopeful.

Has anyone else here besides @calin tried it yet?

Do you know if she made any other adjustments when she started this treatment?

She continued with the exact same diet, exercise plan, etc? Only added the device into the formula?

Less carbs will positively affect her condition though. Basically even a moderate reduction of carbs can be the sole reason for her improvement. It would have been more interesting if she had kept her diet identical, and only introduced the electrical device treatment as a new parameter. Anyway, thanks for letting me know.

      http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/7848401/

      INTERVENTIONS:
A high-carbohydrate diet containing 55% of the total energy as carbohydrates and 30% as fats was compared with a high-monounsaturated-fat diet containing 40% carbohydrates and 45% fats.

      RESULTS:
The site of study as well as the diet order did not affect the results. Compared with the high-monounsaturated-fat diet, the high-carbohydrate diet increased fasting plasma triglyceride levels and very low-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels by 24% (P < .0001) and 23% (P = .0001), respectively, and increased daylong plasma triglyceride, glucose, and insulin values by 10% (P = .03), 12% (P < .0001), and 9% (P = .02),

It was not a drastic change in diet.. just less carbs. Her hands not shaking condition was the biggest change. She ran out of strips and is getting more, so she can start back up with recoding her results. That has completely stopped. It was not due to the less carbs I am sure of.

I will continue to keep you all posted.

I have some feedback from Cindy's (diabetic) regular blood test every 3 months and check up with her doctor. She has dropped 14 pounds in the couple of months using the device and has dropped .9 from her AC1 ((?) test. The doctor will not put her on insulin right now as warned and only increased one of her meds in hope to bring the test down to normal levels at 7 I think she said. That would be another .6 on the test. I am doing this from memory, but that is a positive change just after only using the device for 2 months. Of course, just dropping weight may be the reason and watching her diet as her doctor mentioned.... don't know for sure. She still has some months to go as the claim for this device states. Her personal glucose monitoring is good and steady. She has not seen this kind of decrease before with her doctor.

I have not had to play my CD all night to mask the T to get to sleep for well over a week now. I also can go all day without something in the background to make a T distraction.

I still have the low T, but it doesn't do the spiking - that I notice anyway. I am back to habituating I think and the morning and evening T volume is consistently low now. Before there was an increase in T at bedtime and when waking. If there are times when I have no symptom of T, I am not aware as I don't notice the T much. I pay attention to it mostly when I use the device, in the morning sometimes and before going to bed usually - and of course when I visit this site.

Noticed a change last night when I put my head down to go to sleep. No T in my left ear when I hear it.

I have not been using my cd to play sounds when I sleep at night anymore. It's been weeks now. I will notice the T purposely when I go to bed just to check in.

Woke up this am and checked with the T sound. Faint T- more static sound now instead of the normal sounds I have lived with since 2011. It is like in the background. Not bothersome.

So, I am experiencing some changes as usual. Not over it yet...

I'll check in every now and then.
