      Lately my tinnitus seems to fluctuate like crazy, sometimes from an hour to hour basis it can go from very mild to very severe, I have tinnitus for years and it started out pretty mild and after a year I pretty much habituated to it to the point where it did not bother me and I heard it only very faintly at night.

      Something has changed the last 2 or 3 months though for some reason, I am trying some Xanax/Clonazepam before going to sleep, and sound enrichment by using the L'Asmex Soundperience, it has a couple different sounds on it, I believe 5, from the sound of rolling waves, similar to pink noise, to the sound of a campfire, all pretty soothing, but even this seems to aggravate my tinnitus so I do not let it run all night anymore.

      I also got the stuffed ear feeling again that I had when I first got tinnitus, and of course these crazy fluctuations , not sure what is going on here but it is quite annoying after all these years.

      Anyone experience something similar here?

      @Bart,
      Could it be due to pollen season and extra mucus in your tubes ?
      love glynis x
