Cause of Tinnitus
Clap to ear
I've wondered this for a while. From what I understand, flying with tinnitus is not a problem as long as you wear ear plugs for take off and landing but I've seen a lot of people here say avoid flying with a head cold at all costs. So my question is, if someone with T were to fly somewhere abroad for a week and pick a cold a day or two before their return flight, what do they do?

You shouldn't wear normal ear plugs during landing / take off. That's dangerous. Wear "Ear Planes" type of ear plugs in place of those.

I would delay my return flight just to be safe!!
