I guess that is who most people are rooting for? But judging by the story lines so far, the good guy(s) will not necessarily win :D

I like this show and I'll still be watching it, but I just don't see how they will wrap it all up in six episodes without seeming rushed. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy it a lot, but it hasn't been as good since they ran out of source material.

Ugg. I have never watched this show because I cannot process shows with a lot of violence and stuff.:(

I have horrid nightmares. And it stays with me for a long time.

I am the same. I just cover my eyes during the gory parts. I watch the Walking Dead too.

Game of Thrones? I think you mean Game of Why do so many people watch this wack job of a show that isn't as good as it's cult following misleads everyone to believe. :bored:

I stand by what I said before season 8. It was WAY too rushed. They didn't spend enough time showing character development that would explain why the characters did what they did. You can tell the show runners got all the major plot points from GRRM, but had no idea how to write for the characters so they just rushed to the end. HBO actually wanted more episodes and seasons but D&D said no.

Did not watch it! But since it is make believe

      'Hey, diddle, diddle,
      The cat and the fiddle,
      The cow jumped over the moon;
      The little dog laughed
      To see such sport,
And the dish ran away with the spoon.'

You really think changing the villain 3 episodes in a row, from the Night King, to Cerci, the Danaery seemed rushed? Hmm, ok. You might be right.

well you do have a point there since there was literally water bottles seen in a few shots.

This show went from being one of the best shows ever during the first 3 seasons, to being alright, to being an absolute trainwreck the last two seasons. The last season was laughably bad

Agreed. I think it’s because the showrunners didn’t have anymore exact templates to work with (the novels) in the later seasons. It went from great storytelling to rushed. Like the Ygritte/Jon Snow bit was good but Dany and Jon Snow moved quicker and more forcibly than my tinnitus (which is tough to do).

GRRM originally wanted 10-13 seasons but HBO didn’t even want to go past 7. At least it seems like he’s is motivated to finish the book series now to give it proper justice lol.

Not true. HBO was willing to foot the bill for more episodes and possibly even more seasons, the showrunners (David Benioff and Dan Weiss) wanted to end it early because they wanted to move on to other projects and were unwilling to let someone else take the reins.

Ooohh, I see, I misunderstood then. Although, rushing one of the best (if not the best) epic fantasy ever robs everyone. But I’m sure I’d be over it and ready to move on after a decade of it too.

D&D didn't care anymore. They wanted to finish asap so they can write the new Star Wars. If anyone liked the first part of GOT, they will avoid and boycott any future D&D projects.

They also had the audacity to insult fans who critiqued the rushed writing and poor development of the last couple of seasons. Although, many hard core fans suggested as soon as the novel material ran out, there was a downward trend in writing quality.

Loved the books, the first 5 seasons I really enjoyed but it kind of went downhill after that, they had a few amazing episodes in later seasons but you can see where they ran out of steam.

Season 8 though..... nope just no.
