That is not my house Jcb,
but our cricket pavilion.
I live in a town house.
I'm not rich mate - muso remember....
I gathered that with the plaque that's says "welcome to GREATPARK" haha unless you are the "jazz ranger" of the park??
Edit: That's truly a lovely picture of you and Slyvie (hope I got her name right)
Haha - WRONG - it's SYLVIE.
We are a gated community (built on an old Mental Hospital site).
Town houses, on up to £2 million mansions.
84 acres of wooded grassland, with meadows, tennis courts, cricket field and pavilion.
I'll tell you a little secret J,
(...er...don't tell the others)
when I was in my twenties, I was treated for chronic depression, (Infant neglect), and was under the 'head honcho' of this hospital.
After eight months as an outpatient, they wanted to take me in and electrocute me. (ECT.)
I refused, discharged myself, and went for psychoanalysis instead. Magical.
So I stand before you as this very slightly crazy guy, which you may have noticed,
......and en ex-nutter!
(My close friends question the EX but.)

For those of you who want 'chapter and verse' of where I live, this aerial photo shows my house
(marked in pink) and the meadow where my three cats all go to play. (circled.)

I couldn't agree more.Sorry I have mild dyslexia, it's annoys the hell out of me sometime
Thanks for sharing that, It sounds awful. You've come out the other end a fighting man..... @TracyJS put the quote I was going to (think Alice In Wonderland is one of the most honest books ever and one of my favourites) I think it somes it up best. I wouldn't trust anybody who claims to be "sane"![]()
@Jcb
Thank you for asking.
Um, to be honest I'm still having a very hard time.
I'm not handling all of this very well.
How are you managing?
For those of you who want more information,
here's the conservatory at the back.....

.....now would you like me to nip inside and show you the rest rooms....?
@Jcb
Yes, it helps not knowing your are alone.
I have T for 3 months now. It started out as mild intermittent hissing buzzing in both ears but has gotten more consistent and more severe/ with whistling added, too.
You can all nip round for a mug of coffee if you'd like, or a nice cup of English tea with some scones, strawberry jam, and clotted cream,
- frightfully nice....
......and you'd meet Annie, Percy and TimTom xx
I love tea and scones, nothing more English haha my diet is normally strict but I allow myself some treats every now and again.

And me, too!!
