Hearos Ear Plugs - Any good?

I just got a pair from the local guitar shop. I'm definitely going to get a better pair, and spend a little money. But these were just for the time being. Six bucks is all. Any good?

Also, I've never worn ear plugs before. Any dos or don'ts? Thanks.

Just wanted to add, they're mainly going to be for use at the gym. It's kinda loud. Loud enough to maybe think some protection would be good.

 

Also, is it okay if they get wet while in use, as in sweat and perspiration?
