I'm Brand new to Tinnitus, it just started one morning watching TV news, not even loud. I don't remember the date, but about 2 months now. I thought my wife left something on in the kitchen when it started.
Sucks, I wish she did, lol
Anyway, I'm also new to the group, joined just now. Wow, looks like a lot of great info, can't wait to look into all this knowledge from everyone. I never heard of masking, I tried some and it does help.
I just wanted to ask 1 quick question, maybe it will be a short cut to a quick answer, if not, then I might find something in reading info here?
Question - When I wake up most all mornings, I don't have Tinnitus, it takes a couple minutes for it to start, does this mean anything special??? or is there something I can do to keep it going longer??? Just wanted to see if this is normal with others???
Thanks for any help.
FYI, I can only hear out on one ear, since I was like 5 and fell and hit my head. I'm now 50 and I sleep on my good ear, so I don't hear our cats play at night. Not sure when it stops at night? So I don't hear anything until I lift my head then mins later it starts.
