      Dear fellow tinnitus sufferers,

My name is Jay and I've just joined the forum, so hello :)

I've had tinnitus for about 3 months now. It all started when I woke up with a bad headache on my right side of the head and ringing in my right ear.
I think it was because I was driving fast on the motorway with my window down and wind was blowing in my ear, but not sure.
I went to the doc and she diagnosed ear infection, got some ear drops and amoxiciline.
Now the infection is gone but 3 months on I'm left with a continuous hissing sound, like someone is opening a can of soda, in my ear.
When I pull my jaw back the hiss turns into more like ringing and when I push my jaw forward the hiss stops a bit. Also when biting hard I can hear ringing.
Does anybody know what it is? Had similiar experience?
      Thanks
      Love
      -J

Tempromandibular jaw joint problem TMJ could be the problem.
Basically the jaw joint can get inflamed and it is by your middle ear and can cause tinnitus.....lots of love glynis

Thank you Glynis. I'll go and see my doc about it, most of the docs in the UK are clueless though.
