Had tinnitus for over 20 years, instantly caused by a Hospital audiologist. Hospitalised and given oxygen treatment to no avail. Now there are new noises, dreadful and giving desperate thoughts. Why???

Very hard to manage so have been looking online for comfort.

Horrible time. Had T for 22 years but now new noises. Frightened and anxious. Started 2 weeks ago for no apparent reason and now using sleeping tabs.

Sounds like she got T as a result of one of the tests performed by the audiologist.

Your doctor can prescribe amitriptyline. It has helped me sleep when I was in that acute stage. It is non-addictive and it doesn't make you feel drowsy the next morning.

Hi Allan, yes most of them did. Still have the original T with added hissing, thank you Universe!
It’s hard to describe T but the most scary noise has gone. It’s still severe quite often which is why I went to Neuromod. As reported I have hearing loss so no good for me.
I know you are having a tough time and your new noise could just go.
      Good luck in Dublin x
