On the last week the hissing sound in my left ear has spiked and i have a weird sensation in that ear. I have has this sensation a lot of times before. I have seen ENTs several at that times and they usually see my ears for 3 seconds each one and then they say I have no infection.

I also have a cracking sound that is more prominent in that ear and keeps getting worse.

My question is: can they really know that I have not an ear infection in that short amount of time?

I feels that ENTs doesn't take me serious at all, and don't know what to do to achieve an accurate diagnostic.

it all depends on the ENT. Some are really good and others not as much. I don't know if they rate/review ENTs in Spain, but read some reviews and then go to a good one...

Yes, but I mean: should I be OK with a diagnostic made like that? Or should I ask for something more?

Ear infections are rather painfull and hard to not notice.

It's fairly easy to say if you have an ear infection. Either your ear looks OK or very not OK.

Their diagnostics are, better than ours. If one doctor doesn't help you, get a 2nd opinion and see another one.

Are you sure about the pain thing? I have some kind of disconfort, pressure and itchy sometimes but not a lot of pain. And I feel like liquid sometimes too.

By pain I meant Discomfort too.

Sounds like it might be something worth investigating, however it might as well be psychosomatic.

Sorry, for the confusion, I'm massively hangover and I can't speak English now lol

That's all it takes to take a look at your ear drum and determine if you have an infection, because some of the key symptoms are visual (redness, bulging, fluid behind ear drum). Fever is common too.
